Once again, Madeira Island hosts the 3rd Funchal Eco Trail Race, a competition very similar to other trail running events with the difference that this type of race takes place in the cities.
This race stands out for being integrated in a European urban circuit, along with the following European cities: Paris, Oslo, Stockholm, Reykjavik, Brussels and Madrid, contributing therefore towards the promotion of Madeira Islands within this sports practice.
This competition integrates various classes and is comprised of four races in the distances of 80, 40, 25 and 15 km.
