Levada Nova: A man-made irrigation channel, serves as your trail, offering an easy-to-follow path with a gentle gradient that is suitable for walkers of all levels. As you make your way along this levada, you’ll find yourself amidst the luxuriant vegetation of Madeira’s countryside.

Landscapes: One of the major attractions of this walk is the diverse range of landscapes you’ll encounter. From verdant vineyards and sugarcane fields to rustic farmhouses and stunning ocean views, the ever-changing scenery will keep you captivated throughout your journey.

Nature: The Levada Nova walk is also a haven for nature lovers, as it is home to a diverse range of local flora and fauna. As you walk, you’ll hear the soothing melody of the running water from the levada, the chirping of the birds, and the rustling of the leaves, creating a calming and serene atmosphere.

At Madeira Sunrise Tours, your safety is our top priority. Therefore, please note that we reserve the right to change, postpone, or cancel walks at short notice if there are adverse weather conditions, landslides, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If you need to cancel your reservation, a refund will only be provided if the cancellation is made by 4:00 PM the day before the scheduled tour/walk.

Please ensure you come prepared with suitable walking shoes or boots and a warm coat, especially if temperatures are low in the mountains.

For full-day walks, please bring a picnic and water with you as they will not be provided by Madeira Sunrise Tours.
